All of our doctors are Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and they all received up to an additional 6 years of hospital based surgical training to further their expertise and skills. As oral surgeons, our doctors specialize in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, temporomandibular joint related problems (TMD), congenital oral defects, facial trauma, oral pathology and sleep apnea. Dr. Thomas B. Wilson has been practicing at Greenwich Oral Surgery since completing his residency in 2006. Dr. Wilson brings the discipline and teamwork skills he developed as a varsity football letter winner at Boston College under legendary coach Tom Coughlin to his surgical practice. A Westchester County native, Dr. Wilson earned degrees from both Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine and College of Physicians and Surgeons, completing a full-scope six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Brett Zuckman returned to his home state of Connecticut to practice at Greenwich Oral Surgery, bringing deep community roots as a Fairfield County native and extensive surgical training from his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He earned his DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry and his B.A. in History from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, developing particular expertise in extensive facial reconstruction for prosthetic rehabilitation using bone grafting and dental implants, along with comprehensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, pathology, and maxillofacial trauma involving both hard and soft tissue.
Dr. Garrick Alex is a third-generation dentist who earned both his MD and DDS from Columbia University before completing his six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, including a full year of general surgery training and five months of intensive anesthesia training. As Chief Resident, he received the Osteoscience Foundation Observership award for advanced implant training and participated in humanitarian cleft missions in Colombia and South Dakota. Dr. Alex serves as an associate clinical professor at Columbia University and an attending surgeon at both New York Presbyterian Hospital and Greenwich Hospital, where he takes trauma calls for the Emergency Department.
Dr. Michael Forman is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon who graduated Cum Laude with Honors in Research from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and received the Dr. Norman B. Nesbett Award for overall excellence in clinical dentistry. He completed his six-year residency at Columbia University Medical Center-New York Presbyterian Hospital, earning his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completing a full year of general surgery training with rotations at leading trauma centers including San Francisco General Hospital and Charleston Area Medical Center.
Dr. David Salomon is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with expertise across the full spectrum of oral surgery procedures. His specialties include complex dental implant procedures such as zygomatic implants for patients with severe bone loss, orthognathic surgery for jaw corrections, and management of facial trauma and pathology. Dr. Salomon also provides TMJ surgery, nerve repair procedures, and offers IV sedation and general anesthesia for both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Joseph F. Wallace brings over three decades of surgical excellence to Greenwich Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, earning recognition as a TOP DENTIST in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by both Greenwich Magazine and Westchester Magazine for six consecutive years. After earning his DDS from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1984, Dr. Wallace completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Washington Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident. A Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with dual hospital appointments at Greenwich Hospital and United New York Hospital, Dr. Wallace is licensed in both Connecticut and New York for dental general anesthesia and intravenous sedation.
Dr. Steven Brody is a founding partner of Greenwich Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, having established the practice over 35 years ago with a distinguished career spanning military service, hospital leadership, and academic appointments. After earning his DDS from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, Dr. Brody served as a staff General Dental Officer at Walter Reed US Army Medical Center with duty at the US Army Health Clinic at The Pentagon before completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael/Yale New Haven Hospital.
